2025 Outcome Standards - Changes from Policy Draft to Legislative Instrument

On 14.3.25 the revisions to the Standards for RTOs appeared on the Federal Register of Legislation. This means the legislative instruments are now law and in force.  For ASQA-regulated RTOs, the new requirements will come into full regulatory effect 1.7.25.
 
The ‘revised Standards’ are comprised of three parts:
 
Outcome Standards
Compliance Requirements
Credential Policy
 
The VET sector had access to policy drafts for a period of 6+ months before the final legislative instruments were released.
