Quality Analysis Tool - Outcome Standards Quality Area 3

Need actionable insights to areas of potential operational risk?
 
This tool helps you evaluate current operations against the new Outcome Standards for known risks to quality. It will highlight what's working well, what needs improvement and where the gaps are.
 
The analysis will also support transition to the new requirements by pinpointing necessary areas of focus; for improvement and/or implementation.
 
Aligned against expected results from Quality Area 3 in the Outcome Standards, this tool gives a series of operational practices that have been compiled based on actual known risks to quality as shared by the National VET Regulator.
 
Analyse and evaluate current RTO operations against the supplied list of practices to understand, based on inputs supplied, where attention is most needed. Focus compliance efforts and get a picture of what RTO operations are contributing to quality outcomes and where – if any – the shortfalls lie.
 
Note that this tool does not simply give a listing of the Standards and Performance Indicators released on 14th March 2025.
 
Users are encouraged to complete their analysis using a critical lens to ensure an accurate representation of areas to address can be obtained from the tool.
 
 
There are four tools in this series; one for each Quality Area. These tools will support self-assurance and allow you to springboard into creating necessarily customised responses to operational policy and process requirements.

This tool is supplied as a five-tab spreadsheet that covers all three (3) of the Standards to comprise Quality Area 3 - VET Workforce Management. It gives a simple, easily understood system for quality and risk analysis.
